STORY

Bay State Remodeling helped reinvigorate this beautiful home on Bynner Street in Jamaica Plain by remodeling the kitchen and bathroom while also adding a new, more convenient laundry room.

The client wanted the new kitchen to open into the dining room. Bay State Refinishing & Remodeling worked with the client to design a new floor and break out all of the work into individual tasks to give the client peace of mind that everything would be accounted for. The kitchen remodel included removing a load bearing wall and working with a structural engineer to ensure all of the proper structural support was in place for the new kitchen design. An affidavit was also procured and handed over to the client beforehand for assurance.

In addition to the structural work and multiple inspections to ensure the safety and sturdiness, Bay State Refinishing & Remodeling also installed new cabinets and replaced the countertops with new marble countertops as well as added several new premium fixtures.

Bay State Refinishing & Remodeling also remodeled an outdated bathroom and relocated the laundry room from an unfinished basement to next to the newly-renovated bathroom for added convenience. This work included working with external contractors including electricians and plumbers to ensure all of the correct lines could be run for the remodel. In addition, Bay State Refinishing & Remodeling installed new windows, fixtures, flooring, and more to update the space and make it more beautiful and usable.
