STORY
Bay State Remodeling helped modernize this Chelsea-brick townhouse on Captains Row Rear with a complete kitchen remodel. Bay State Remodeling was able to brighten up the living room and give it a more contemporary feel while also making it more functional by adding several new features.
The dark brick wall tiles were removed and were replaced with premium white paint to transform this dark kitchen into a brighter, more inviting space. In addition, the tile floors were replaced with new hardwood floor that matches the existing floors in other parts of the house to create a unified floor throughout the space.
Bay State Remodeling worked with the client to identify an Aria LG Quartz countertop that goes very well with the light brick backsplash tile and creates a nice contrast with the dark wood kitchen cabinets. The team also installed under-cabinet lighting inside the crown molding. This helped to delimit the cabinet units and further emphasize the great textures of the brick backsplash tiles. Finally, two separate sinks were installed in the kitchen area. One of the sinks is part of a wet bar that contains a 50-bottle built-in wine cooler.
