Cherry St., Newton Attic Remodeling

New parents on Cherry street in Newton were looking to remodel their unfinished attic to create a new play area for their new babies. The team at Bay State Remodeling were up to the task to create the perfect area for the young ones to grow up in.

The attic remodel included finishing out the attic space and incorporating lots of open shelving and storage throughout to ensure plenty of space for all of the children’s toys. The designers at Bay State worked hand-in-hand with the owners to come up with the perfect layout and identified opportunities for additional storage throughout including the long bench under the window with additional storage.

The team also added a full bath to the attic with custom built-in shelving and shower bench. The custom white vanity as well as beautiful chrome plumbing, robe hooks, and towel bar helped create a bright and peaceful place that the family will love for years to come.

Finally, the structural engineers and architects help reconfigure the attic staircase. Bay State’s team of carpenters helped ensure everything was done up to code and would stand the test of time (and toddlers) for years to come.

In the end, the client loved that the Bay State crew was on time and onsite every day until the project was done. And that they now have a fully usable attic space for their children to enjoy. The entire project was completed in 3 months.
