STORY

Bay State Remodeling finished this contemporary, whole home remodel in Charlestown in just two months. The owner was looking to renovate the entire apartment with modern designs and fixtures.

This client was looking for a breath of fresh air in her penthouse on East 1st St. in Boston. The team at Bay State Remodeling helped by doing a complete renovation of the kitchen, bathrooms, living room, dining room, and bedroom.

Working with Bay State’s designers, the client purchased high-end materials and furnishings to help accentuate the remodel and add another layer of luxury to the space. The Scavollini kitchen cabinets are a great example of how these high-end touches can help transform a space.

In addition, the 3-dimensional tiles helped create the illusion of a bigger bathroom. In the other bathroom, a double vanity was installed along with a custom glass enclosure to create more space and added privacy for the other person using the vanity.

The industrial building housing the penthouse doesn’t offer central air so Bay State’s team helped make the space more comfortable by adding a min split HVAC system for the hot summer days.

The client loved her newly-renovated home. She’s cooking almost every night in her newly-remodeled kitchen and loves how the design seamlessly blends with the industrial feel of the building to create a truly unique space she can enjoy for years to come.
In addition to the living room remodel and kitchen remodel, the team at Bay State completed a full bathroom remodel and incorporated many of the same design features for a cohesive design throughout the whole home remodel. The brushed brass fixtures and accents tie-in beautifully with the hardware used in the kitchen and add contemporary elegance to the space. In addition, the patterned wall in the shower creates a strong statement piece in the remodeled bathroom.

Completed in just two months, the client loved how dedicated the team at Bay State Refinishing and Remodeling were to her whole home remodel. In addition, she loves the clean, updated look of her home.
