Madison St., Belmont Basement Remodeling

After

STORY

This client in Belmont, MA faced a very similar situation to many homeowners – they needed more space in their home but didn’t want to move. The team at Bay State Remodeling were able to expand their home and their love for it by finishing out the unused attic as well as remodeling the basement to provide them with significantly more living space.

A distinctive feature of the remodel included the combination of traditional and farmhouse materials to match the client’s desired style. The raw wood material in the living space combined with the colonial wainscotting as an accent helped create a warm gathering area for the family. This was carried through to the ceiling beams as well.

The bathrooms were also updated to leverage classic colors such as whites and neutral tones. This was then complimented by the use of colonial hardware, tile, and fixtures to create a cohesive look throughout the new spaces.

Overall, the client fell in love with the space. They were already planning on which overnight guests to invite first to enjoy it.
