STORY

After purchasing a new condo in Brighton, MA, this client wanted to remodel the entire space to truly make it their own and update it throughout. The team at Bay State Remodeling worked with the client to bring his dream of a contemporary, colonial style home to life.

Almost all of the rooms in the newly-purchased condo were remodeled. To help make the space brighter, Bay State Remodeling distributed recessed cans throughout. In addition, they refinished the hardwood flooring to bring back its shine and added fresh paint throughout. New plumbing fixtures and tile were installed in the bathroom and the kitchen was given a much-needed uplift. Finally, a new walk-in closet was added to make the new condo even more usable as well as improve the overall resale value of the home.

Throughout the remodel, several special materials were used to help make the space truly unique. For example, the herringbone layout for the tile in the top portion of the shower stall contrasted with the subway tile beneath to help create a unique focal point in the bathroom. In addition, the gray-finish cabinetry and authentic colonial glass cabinet hardware complemented each other to bring a modern, colonial feel to the kitchen.

Overall, the client loved how bright their new condo turned out and how much more functional it was with the added cabinetry and walk-in closet. Best of all, everything was completed and ready within 3 months.
