STORY

Bay State Remodeling helped a young couple transform their new luxury condo in Brookline into their perfect space with a whole home remodel. The couple wanted to renovate the entire condo to a more modern, open style that better fit their lifestyle.

The team at Bay State Remodeling was more than up to the task for the whole home remodel. They helped the couple completely transform the space by creating an open concept floor plan and applying modern finishes throughout. The process required removing a load-bearing wall between the kitchen and living room. Furthermore, the condo was on the top floor of a multiple unit building so the team at Bay State Refinishing and Remodeling had to take a careful approach when installing a new structural beam to bring the couple’s dream space to life.

In addition, the team at Bay State helped relocate the wash and dryer in the unit by converting one of the condo’s closets to a new laundry room. They also updated the bathrooms to remove the dated marble and bring the master bathroom and half bathroom more in line with the new, modern look throughout the rest of the updated condo.

Finally, the design team at Bay State Remodeling worked with the couple to determine the perfect finishes throughout the renovated condo on Winchester Street in Brookline. Every detail from the beautiful porcelain tiles in the bathrooms to the complimenting blue paint tints on the walls and cabinetry was selected to help the young couple make the space truly their own and compliment the modern finishes of the appliances. To retain some of the traditional design, they also installed new crown molding and complemented it with a modern trim to tie everything together perfectly.
