STORY
Bay State’s Brookline bathroom remodeling project transformed an outdated master bathroom and guest bathroom into functional, attractive, contemporary spaces.
We used Lasa Covelano marble on the countertops. This durable marble is renowned for its pure white color with delicate veins of grey to yellow overtones. The sink faucets, Kholer’s Artifacts with bell design, give a vintage look, blending the contemporary and classic to create a distinctive decorative style.
The master bathroom vanity is a Fairmont 72-inch, double-bowl design with an open shelf. The Sonoma Sand finish, a weathered wood look in an attractive brown with undertones of grey and dusty rose, gives a natural feel that complements the stone countertop.
The Belltown vanity in slate blue is a focal point of color of the guest bathroom. The simple lines of the six-drawer unit complement the rectangular, grey-toned tiles in the shower. The sleek bar pulls in a nickel-brushed finish on the vanity drawers contrast with the vintage look of the faucets on the vanity top.
A compact laundry room added needed functionality to the remodel. A stacking washer/dryer unit can be hidden behind double doors. Laura Ashley porcelain floor tiles in pale slate and white add subtle color and a cheerful sunflower design to the space.
