Our team transformed this 1895 Dorchester home with a modern kitchen remodel, blending contemporary touches with classic colonial elements. Light, modern colors were introduced while preserving key features like the hardwood floors, window trims, and beadboard walls, which were sanded, stained, and refinished to match the rest of the house.
Our team kept a few existing features, including a millwork like the hardwood floor, window trims, and beadboard walls. We sanded, stained and refinished these elements to match the other areas of the house. The kitchen now boasts new white cabinetry paired with Barre grey granite countertops and 4×12 grey backsplash tiles. Chrome appliances enhance the clean, sophisticated design.
New windows, undermount sinks, and garbage disposals were added. Three pendant lights illuminate the island, creating a seamless blend between the rustic colonial features and the modern kitchen.
