This home was remodeled for a more sophisticated look, covering 1,120 square feet, including a bathroom, two bedrooms, the living room, kitchen, dining room, and foyer.
In the kitchen, the existing vinyl flooring was replaced with new porcelain tiles for a modern finish. New cabinets were installed, along with under-cabinet lighting, and many of the crown moldings were updated. The sleek appearance was completed with new appliances and updated electrical wiring.
In the bathroom, flooring was replaced, and a hand shower with a two-way valve trim diverter was installed for precise temperature and volume control. A custom shower door, two-piece toilet, and 24-inch pedestal sink were also added. After careful planning, space was made to include a washer and dryer.
Additional updates included installing base molding throughout, adding new window trim and door casings, replacing vinyl flooring in the dining room with porcelain tiles, and resurfacing hardwood floors in the rest of the apartment.
